LES Energy Services and her partner Dräger, a German leader in safety equipment and safety systems hosted an array of professionals from various industries ranging from the Oil and Gas Sector, Finance, FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, and Federal Fire Services to the first Dräger Day Nigeria seminar in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The seminar showcased a plethora of Dräger’s cutting-edge products with practical illustrations on Drugs and Alcohol Testing, Respiratory Protection, Carcinogenic substances in the Oil and Gas Industry, Hazardous Materials handling, Confined Space Entry Procedures, Gas Detection, Daily Maintenance, Cleaning and Service of PPE and Gas Detection Devices.

From Monday 6th to Tuesday 7th of May, 2019, participants were welcomed by the MD/CEO of LES Energy Services Limited, Preye Berezi and thereafter had practical and interactive training sessions with facilitators of the 2-day seminar at the LES Energy – Dräger service center located at 160A NTA. The seminar brought together professionals from over 40 different companies which include participants from IOCs like Total, Shell, Bourbon, NOCs which include NLNG, GPPSL, Port Harcourt Refinery Company Limited, UNN Chemicals, BW Offshore, Laser Energy, Moni Pulo Limited, and many more. GTBank, Evans Industries Limited, Waste Pipes and Drainages Ltd, 3FM Solutions, Federal Fire Services of Nigeria, and more were also present at the two-day seminar.
One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of a 2018 Procurement Partner Award 2018 to the MD/CEO of LES Energy Services, Preye Berezi by the Dräger Area Sales Manager North West Africa, Hans Simon Cray, right after participants were presented with the certificates of participation.

In appreciation of the award given and participants in attendance, the MD/CEO of LES Energy Services, Preye Berezi closed;
I am delighted in the large turnout at this maiden event and I believe this has been a great learning curve to all participants including myself. We are going to make this an annual event as part of our commitment to promote the LES – Dräger partnership. As part of our consistent commitment to excellence and quality, we have built the first of its kind Dräger Services Center in Nigeria, to provide after sales support to the West African market and beyond. We are expanding our services offerings to the FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Medical and other sectors as there are huge opportunities for our partnership in there.
Together, LES Energy and Dräger have brought a wide range of products and support services to oil and gas companies that use Dräger equipment in Nigeria. The service center is located in Port Harcourt Rivers State, Nigeria and its operations cover sales of Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals, and General Dräger products, maintenance and training on how to use them.
Prior to this agreement, LES Energy Services has been a supplier of Dräger equipment to number of companies including Shell Petroleum Development Company, GPPSL and more.
